There was no blueprint. So I built one.
Rehana Mohamed entered a blended household with 16 years of financial and operational expertise and immediately discovered that none of it fully prepared her for what building an instant family actually requires.
She started quietly. A reading hour. A 2pm room check before sushi. A gift budget engineered in the back room so no child felt like less under the tree. Small things. Consistent things. Things that didn’t announce themselves as systems — but functioned like them.
Mula Momma was born from a Chili’s dinner she almost didn’t recover from a moment that revealed she was quietly repeating a generational pattern she’d spent her life trying to interrupt. That night, she sent a text. She owned what she got wrong. She kept the boundary that mattered and released the one that was never really about the phones.
That’s the moment Mula Momma became real.
